Support for Trauma and Depression

Hypnotherapy helps you process past trauma safely and effectively, in a safe, therapeutic space, we work together to gently work through your experiences, build emotional resilience, and reduce symptoms of depression anxiety and sleepless nights. The Processing of your issue will continue after your session and Jo will guide you on how to make the most of post hypnotherapy treatment.
Trauma can be the smallest of episodes and gone from everyday memory, the effect it had on you, how others handled the trauma around you and the result of the trauma. Scars do not have to be visible and with Hypnotherapy these can start to heal even if you do not recall the exact issue or the incident. Under hypnosis you will safely be able to process past problems and issues without the need to relive the physical distress and experiences.
Depression means different things for different people, some cry, some shout, some shut themselves away, but all say whatever they are feeling is uncontrollable, depression stems from many different things, from the small events to losing your job, losing status or diagnosis of an illness, even survivor guilt. Using a combination of treatments, taking you back in stages exploring past relationships and how these have affected your coping skills and reactions today; Helping you to be proactive in setting healthy boundaries. Through suggestion therapy and emotional clearing, you will begin setting healthier boundaries and reframe limiting beliefs shaped by upbringing, culture, or trauma.
Healthy Boundaries are really important in every aspect of our lives, whether it is being able to say no, or to recognise unhealthy behaviour of others which affect us, is a life skill many do not possess, with the help of this therapeutic input you will be able to recognise, defuse and regain control of unhealthy interactions.

Regression Therapy – This Life and Past Life

This Life Regression: (18+ only) Is a powerful tool in hypnotherapy tracing and tracking influences that have affected you in everyday life. Jo will use her expertise and training in starting from the present and taking you back in time at intervals to highlight experiences impacting on your choices and believes. Uncovering locked-in memories safely; releasing them without reliving the trauma or experiences. Some issues can stem from childhood (0-21 year) especially relationships, selection process of partners and jobs, school life experiences, and trauma’s, all are addressed at the sessions. Please allow for a longer session when we are using this method. Jo may suggest more than one session of hypnotherapy to get to the heart of your challenges allowing for a recovery journey tailored for your needs.
Past Life Regression (18+ only): Some believe we can bring trauma and experiences with us through time and from past lives to this, Past live regression gives the opportunity and the ability to look at who we were in previous lives. Which can highlight the challenges we face in this life, including trauma, traits and relationships we may carry through lifetimes.
